Path to Evil

The main character of the game is Daniel Foster, a journalist known for his investigations of mysterious events. One day, he receives a strange unsigned letter that talks about missing people and oddities in a remote town. Intrigued, the guy goes there, but upon arrival, he discovers that it is impossible to get out.

Dark Secrets

The territory is covered in thick fog that seems alive. In the center is an ancient tower with a constantly striking clock, although no one knows who winds it up. The locals are friendly but evasive, and some act as if they don’t notice the madness around them.

The Key to Freedom

The player begins to explore the streets, houses and shops. Each object and character contains clues about what is happening, but many details contradict each other. The protagonist of the game finds scraps of notes, old photographs and strange artifacts.

Soon you notice that time here flows illogically: the same day repeats itself, but with slight changes. Events happen as if someone is trying to make you notice something important. Daniel realizes that he himself is one of the “lost souls”.

He was driven by guilt for an article that ruined the life of an innocent man. In order to leave this place, he must correct his mistakes – not physically, but mentally, accepting his actions and their consequences in The Strange City.
