The protagonist of The King is Watching is a simple official, who works in the Council archive. His life changes dramatically when he accidentally finds a document containing a secret that can change the fate of the entire kingdom. Realizing the importance of the information found, he faces a dilemma. Leave everything as is and continue to live a safe but boring life, or embark on a dangerous path of resistance?

Double Life

Throughout the game, the hero begins to hide his activities from colleagues and loved ones. Players will have to balance between performing their daily duties and trying to decipher secret records. Every choice is important and can lead to different outcomes, including arrest or even death of the hero. Decisions also affect those around you: someone can become a traitor, and someone – a loyal ally in The King is Watching.

The Second Half of the Plot

In this part of the game, the guy learns about the existence of an underground organization that seeks to overthrow the ruler. It provides him with resources and help, but in return requires the completion of risky missions. Will you be able to infiltrate forbidden archives or pass evidence through enchanted mirrors? With each successful step, you risk being exposed and paranoia gradually takes over your mind.
