Friday Night Funkin

Friday Night Funkin games are created for those particularly who love the music with all their hearts. It means first of all, that the entire game is built around the sounds and how you take it. Much depends also on how good your listening and rhythmic skills are, because during the playthrough you’ll have to meet the characters and difficulties that are connected with the speed and accuracy. But let’s start from the very beginning.

The setting of the storyline

All the actions of Friday Night Funkin are taking place in a world where every conflict and competition is solved with the help of rap battles. And in a world like this, there starts a usual love story, when a boy wants to start a relationship with the girl he likes. She seems to like him too, but before they can be together, a pretentious young man should overcome a number of blocks that stand in the way of his love.

Thus he meets different antagonists, which have particular songs which they offer to our main hero to perform. The interesting feature of the game is that there’s no chance for the protagonist to lose: either he plays his opponent over, or he should try again, before he succeeds.

The series

The original game includes 7 weeks – levels where the main hero meets his adversaries. From the start of Friday Night Funkin, Girlfriend teaches him to sing (and the gamer learns the mechanics). The key principle is to listen to the rhythm and watch the arrows that appear on a screen, and which a player needs to hit according to timing. The timing is determined by the beats marked with the pulsation. This mechanic is common for the entire series of modifications that appeared because of a great popularity of the release.

Even though most of FNF are created for PC, there are mobile versions too, but the game in this version has a little different gameplay.
